The Wooden Spike Wall is a structure that does not need to be snapped to a foundation or fence foundation. It is a free standing wall that must only be placed on ground. Many also place them on ceilings to aid in base defense. Players who touch the spike walls (even the player that owns them) will be damaged and knocked back if they touch a spike wall. Dinosaurs that are being ridden will take damage as well but unridden dinosaurs take no damage from the Wooden Spike Wall. As the Wooden Spike Wall cannot be damaged by most dinosaurs, they offer great protection from wild dinosaurs. Not as strong as the Metal Spike Wall, but still efficient at keeping some lower level dinosaurs at bay.
